Copyright and fair use is used as a form of protection from stealing other's work. To differentiate the two, copyright is the protection of people using the author's work and claiming it as their own whereas fair use is the permission to use copyrighted material under certain circumstances such as teaching or research. As a creator for graphics and content, I understand how to gain inspiration from a previous author's or creator's work and making it my own, which is how I would handle the situation as a teacher. If I feel the need to reuse someone's work, I would make sure I do it under legal forms, such as following the fair use doctrine. It is important to pass this same practice over to my students as well given it can avoid futuristic problems such as plagiarism.

In the age of technology, there can be some technology implementation issues such as lack of funding and decreased productivity. I remember not having the same equal access to technology uses in a classroom versus my peers wh attended a different school. Due to this, I realized how far behind in curriculum I was compared to my friends around me. Technology can be very beneficial to increasing the time it takes to explain different concepts, but without it, teachers take up more time to get their concepts across while the district expects them to move at a faster pace. A solution for this is to either make sure all schools have funding for technology or not include it at all. It is a very tough and can be seen as an unfair solution, but school districts expect all schools to perform the same when most have unfair circumstances against them to others. I also remember having to go outside for an hour or attend a physical education class for an hour every day. I believe to increase productivity and release students from a tech brain, implementing this practice would be very beneficial. There are many statistics that prove students need an hour break from being stuck in the books or technology to increase motivation and productivity.

A new skill I acquired during the newsletter design is the usage of columns and making sure everything flows and is aligned. I had to mess around a lot with formatting and placements to make sure the design is attractive to the eye and the message is clear. I believe this will be a very beneficial skill to have in the future while creating different classroom assignments that allow students to express creativity, but I do also believe in a realistic world, the usage of templates from different creative software and tools would be allowed. In the future, I would mess around with colors more or even do a deeper search for different graphics or articles.
