First off, I've never experienced one of my teachers from elementary-high school have a website for their students and parents to access! It shows you how much things have changed technology-wise. As I was scrolling through the different pages, I noticed many teachers had a syllabus attached to their site, a google classroom calendar which probably became about due to covid, and different minor pieces needed to know before the start of the year for students and teachers. For one teacher specifically, she included course information on the different classes she teaches and it was also unique to see the teachers for TCC as well. Having your own site with listed information becomes very beneficial for parents and students to always have something to connect on in times needing to understanding what is expected on every side of the relationship. Through the era of zoom interactions and having to do most things digitally I see myself using technology in various ways. Technology has become a great tool for communication and organization which I believe are two of the most integral aspects when doing everything virtually. I see myself using google calendar to organize my day as it allows you to use different labels and colors to represent what your day would look like. I also recently came across a platform named "visme" where it allows you to create different visuals for powerpoints and presentations as well as lesson plan templates, report card templates, and more. There are many websites that potentially replicate this form therefore I would go with my most effective yet budget-friendly option. In all, technology tools are everchanging, therefore by the time I begin teaching, I more than likely would be using a variety of platforms to enhance my students' education and engagement.

So the wiki sites... I'm not sure how I feel about it haha. It was very odd to look at. In a sense, it felt like I was editing a real site through Wikipedia or something, but it also felt a tad bit outdated. I believe it was a great platform to learn about as it showed me how students can add their own pages to a site that has a common prompt. On the other hand, it felt so odd to critique other websites and upload them to that specific platform that could use some work too. It was also a tad bit much to handle as there was a lot to learn within it as far as making the resource open on a different page. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience and I learned a lot about the different ways groups may collaborate with each other, but I don't know, it was one of the weirdest assignments we've had yet.
